A few words you might hear during your visit, each explained simply.

Nuad Thai
The Thai word for traditional Thai massage — assisted stretching and pressure along the body's energy lines.
Sen lines
The energy lines traditional Thai massage follows, similar in concept to acupressure meridians.
Herbal compress
A warm bundle of steamed herbs pressed against the body, often used alongside or after a massage.
Aromatherapy
Massage using scented oils, chosen for their aroma as much as how they feel on the skin.
Lemongrass steam
A herbal steam treatment using lemongrass, often used to help clear the sinuses and relax the muscles.
Dry sauna
A heated room using dry heat rather than steam — usually hotter and less humid than a steam room.
Cold plunge
A brief dip in cold or iced water, usually after heat exposure — also called an ice bath or contrast therapy.
Foot reflexology
Foot massage that applies pressure to specific points, believed to correspond to other parts of the body.
Body scrub
An exfoliating treatment using a herbal or salt-based scrub to remove dead skin before rinsing off.
